Here at 'The Dog Shop' all breeds are welcome, both large and small. The salon has been designed specifically with state of the art equipment where you can bring your dog to be groomed in a gentle, caring, safe and stress free environment. It has been specially designed to accommodate large and giant breed of dogs with a non-slip ramp for easy access into the bathing area.
On your dog's first visit a thorough assessment of your dog's coat condition and general health will be undertaken and a record card completed with your requirements. This record can then be used to inform future visits with regard to your dog's individual requirements. My aim is to make every dog's visit to 'The Dog Shop' a pleasant experience. Please be assured that your pet will be groomed in a caring and stress free manner.
Services can be tailored to meet each individual dogs needs, from just a bath and brush up to a full doggie make over! .A range of services are available from just a bath or nail clipping, to a full groom including brush out, bath, specialist drying (dependant of coat type), full breed clip and or scissor cut, nails clipped, ears cleaned and anal glands emptied (done on request only). Coat care advice will also be given if required, including which products to use to look after and enhance the condition of your dogs coat.
All products used in the salon are made with a blend of natural oils and essences and are tailored to your dogs individual coat needs. These are also available to purchase to keep your dog clean and smelling fresh in between visits. We cater for all types of coats from the silky coat of a Yorkshire terrier (coconut shampoo) to the harsh coat of an Airedale terrier (dewberry shampoo). A conditioner will also be applied to the coat if required. All products used within the salon are available to purchase to freshen up your dog in between visits.
