Sally 2010
We also have a new addition to the household called Sally Ann (Potterdale Precious Star) and I will be campaigning her in 2011 along with Harry and Lottie (Borowell Spring Blossom). Sally was born on the 29th May 2010. The Sire is Potterdale Prdigy and Dam is Shenendoa Star of Potterdale. Sally has already made her show debut and has already gained a second in Minor Puppy Bitch at the Midshires Bearded Collie Club Show earlier inthe year. She will hopefully be campaigned throughout 2011. Watch this space for further wins!!!
Lottie
Borowell Spring Blossom (lottie) will also be out and about at the shows this year. Lottie is now 5 years old and hasn't attended many shows. However she is so beautiful that we have decided to campaign her along with Harry and Sally.
Harry wins at Leominster
Harry (Potterdale Pursuit) gained his first Kennel Club Challenge Certificate along with Reserve Best in Show, Best Dog and Best Opposite sex at Midshires Bearded Collie Championship Show at Leominster on 1st August 2010. I am very, very proud of him and hope that we can gain the remaining 2 Challenge Certificates to make him a Champion.
Lottie at Driffield, 2008
I grew up always having a dog by my side in the family home, and over the years we owned a West Highland White Terrier, a Golden Retriever and a German Shepherd. Upon leaving home the idea of not having a dog was unbearable so along came Barney, my first Bearded Collie, and then shortly after Meg, a rescue collie x. Barney was to start me on my journey of life with Bearded Collies.
After many years working in the banking industry I yearned to work with dogs and therefore decided to learn how to groom dogs professionally. I trained at a private grooming school in Lincolnshire, and then set up 'Posh Pooches' in Melbourne, Derbyshire and groomed successfully from home.
Lottie winning at Leeds 2009
10 years later, I now have five Bearded Collies with which I have considerable success in the show ring and breed the occasional litter. All but two of my bearded collies are from my good friends Mike and Janet Lewis of the famous Potterdale Kennels. Lottie (Borowell Spring Blossom), my youngest, is the prodigy of Krisp (Potterdale Beginners Luck at Borowell) and Josh (Potterdale Professional). I am hoping to have a litter from Lottie at the end of the year so watch this space! Thomas (Potterdale Self Portrait) was bred by Kim and Phillip Evans of the Treebeard Beardies. Thomas gained a 2nd place in Post Graduate class at Crufts and gained his Stud Book Number shortly after.

My other beardies are Sid (Potterdale Prime Suspect), Harry (Potterdale Pursuit) pictured right. Harry won his Mid Limit class at Crufts this year and is having considerable success in the show ring having also gained his Stud Book Number. Krisp is my 'special girl', she was my first show dog and is the daughter of the famous Champion Potterdale Prophet, Rudi who sadly passed away earlier this year. Krisp doesn't enjoy the show ring and so chooses to stay at home in her bed with her toys!
